I’m on my second cup of 100 Cups of Coffee. This time I went to a smaller coffee shop. I frequent this place regularly. The place is called Hungry Camel (more on that in a bit). You can find this little gem just down the road from my workplace. The owners, Barry and Maria are really friendly and will greet you by name and chat to you.
Now, you might think to yourself that it has quite a peculiar name. Here’s why, on entering you will find maybe a 100 camels all over the place. From stuffed toys to pictures to carved figures.
They have been receiving more from regular clients, so the collection is ever growing.
On to the food and service. The food is always good, with generous portions. They are well priced ensuring clients will return even when there are plenty other eateries surrounding them. As seen in my cover photo, the coffee, or any hot drink comes with a home made cookie. You don’t have to take my word for it, they have received a cool 4,5 stars on Tripadvisor. When you go to Hungry Camel it feels like coming home, and not just a generic eating place. If you’re ever in the area, give them a try.
